Singing Lessons Private singing lessons are planned around the singers strengths and needs. They can be genre specific - concentrating on one particular musical style of singing or have a more flexible, 'cross-train' approach to enable the singers to learn vocal techniques of different styles. Singers learn to warm-up the voice, increase vocal power and agility, understand vocal physiology, improve their performance skills and artistry. Opportunities to take singing exams are offered.
Piano and keyboard lessons Lessons will offer opportunities to work towards exams in various styles but will also nurture and encourage students to create their own music.
Guitar lessons In guitar lessons students can learn a wide variety of styles depending on their interest, utilising students favourite music and artists to help develop their fundamental technique. Lessons are planned and tailored to the students needs and goals, whether it’s to accompany themselves singing their own songs, build a repertoire of sing along party classics or to achieve instrumental virtuosity.
Music theory and aural lessons Lessons are available to teach up to grade 8 music theory and aural and would suit the singer who is preparing for practical and grade exams in popular or classical music. Also, Singer Train tutors teach theory in instrumental lessons and in group sessions.
Locations: Birmingham City Centre, Moseley, Kings Heath or via Skype.
